YOU WOULDN'T GET ITMake our game

PRIVACY

Your stories are here to make your game - not to become ours.

The short version

You type things about your family and friends into this site. That is personal, and sometimes embarrassing, so here is exactly what happens to it - including the parts that are less convenient for us to admit.

Where your answers live

While you are making your game, everything you type is stored in your own web browser, on your own device. We do not have an account system and we are not keeping a copy of your draft on a server.

That has a trade-off worth knowing about: if you clear your browsing data, use private browsing, or switch to a different device, your draft goes with it. Drafts are also automatically cleared after 30 days of not being touched. You can wipe yours at any time with the "Start over" link on the create page.

When it does leave your device

To actually write your cards, we have to send your answers to our server, and our server sends them to OpenAI, which is the service that generates the card text. So it would be untrue to say nobody else ever sees what you write.

What we send is the material needed to write cards: the names or nicknames you entered, whether each person is over or under 18, your mode and intensity choices, your off-limits topics, and the answers you gave. We do not send your email address, and we do not ask for one.

OpenAI processes that request under their own terms and privacy policy, which they can change without asking us. We are not going to make specific promises here about how long they keep API data or whether they train on it, because that is their commitment to make and not ours to guarantee. If that matters to you, read their current API terms before using this site.

Payment

Payments are handled entirely by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never touch our servers - we never see your card number.

We deliberately do not send Stripe any of your stories, names or card text. The only thing we attach to a payment is a one-way fingerprint of your game, which lets us confirm that a payment belongs to the game being downloaded without revealing anything about it.

Your finished game

Your PDFs are generated the moment you ask for them and sent straight to your browser. We do not save your finished deck to a public folder, and there is no shareable link to your game that someone could guess.

Logging

We keep basic technical logs so we can tell whether the site is broken: things like which step failed, how many cards were generated, and error codes. We deliberately do not log the content of your answers, your prompts, or your generated cards.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels or third-party analytics. The only thing stored in your browser is your own game draft, which is why there is no cookie banner nagging you.

Children

This site is for adults to use. You can include people under 18 as characters in your game, and we ask you to tell us who they are precisely so their cards stay appropriate and no adult material is ever written about them. Nobody under 18 should be using this site to make a purchase.

Getting in touch

Contact details for this site are being finalised. Rather than print an address here that does not work yet, we have left it out until it is real.
