Who you are buying from

You Wouldn't Get It is operated by Cherie Khattab, sole trader. ABN 72 582 366 734.

You Wouldn't Get It is currently available to Australian customers only. Checkout collects a billing address, and an order paid from outside Australia will not be fulfilled - we will refund it instead. All prices are in Australian dollars.

What you are buying

  • - A one-time purchase of A$9.95 AUD for the base game.
  • - A digital product: printable PDF files you download and print yourself.
  • - 60 personalised cards, a rules page, a print and cut guide, in both A4 and US Letter, plus optional card backs.
  • - Optional add-on packs at A$1.99 each, bought at the same time as the base game. Each one adds 30 more cards to the same download. All three takes the game to 150 cards for A$15.92.
  • - No physical cards are printed or posted to you. Nothing arrives in the mail.
  • - Not a subscription. No recurring charge, no credits, no free trial that starts billing later.
  • - No account is created and no password is needed.

Price, currency and GST

Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Every price on this site is shown as A$ or AUD, and that is the amount that will be charged.

Payment is taken in Australian dollars. If your card settles in another currency, your bank converts the amount at its own rate - that conversion is between you and your bank, and we only ever charge the Australian dollar amount shown.

How payment works

Payment is taken by Stripe on their own secure checkout page. We never see or store your card details. Your download is unlocked only after Stripe confirms to our server that the payment actually succeeded.

If a payment is taken but your game fails to generate, you do not pay again. Return to the page you were sent to after paying and it will retry. Keep the payment reference shown on that page.

What the game is

The cards are written by an AI system from the answers you give it. It is a party game, meant to be funny. It is not a factual record of anyone's life.

We work hard on one rule in particular: the generator is instructed and then automatically checked so it does not invent events that never happened and present them as real. Cards that make factual claims are built from things you actually told us. Cards that are speculation are written as speculation. If you spot something wrong in your preview, edit it before you buy - you can change any card's wording yourself.

You are responsible for what you type in, and for who you play the game with. Please do not use this to be genuinely cruel to someone.

Age, and who can play

You must be 18 or over to buy. That applies whichever mode you pick.

  • - Family Friendly games can absolutely include people under 18. If you tell us somebody in the group is under 18, the whole deck stays clean - not just the cards that name them.
  • - Adults Only games are 18+ content and ask you to confirm your age before we write anything.
  • - The Truth or Drink add-on is 18+ and only sold with an Adults Only game.

Truth or Drink

On a Truth or Drink card, the player either answers honestly or takes one normal sip instead. That is the whole mechanic.

  • - Drinking alcohol is entirely optional. A sip of any drink counts, and water counts.
  • - Choosing a sip is never losing, and the game never asks anyone to keep drinking.
  • - No shots, no downing drinks, no drinking contests, no forfeits measured in drinks.
  • - Your group can agree a harmless non-drinking forfeit instead, and the printed rules say so.
  • - These cards are for the adults at the table only.

Please look after each other. Nothing in this game is a reason for anyone to drink more than they want to.

Your content and your game

The answers you write remain yours. The game we generate for you is yours to print, play and give to the people in it. You may not resell it or distribute it commercially.

We do not claim ownership of your stories, and we do not publish, share or sell your game to anyone.

If something goes wrong

This is a digital product delivered immediately, so it is not the kind of thing that can be "returned". If the product does not work as described - your files will not download, or the PDFs are broken - email support@youwouldntgetit.com with the payment reference shown on your download page and we will sort it out.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or under any consumer protection law that applies where you live, that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where you are buying from

This site is operated from Australia, sells to customers in Australia, and these terms are governed by the law of Australia.

We would like to sell everywhere, and we intend to. Until then, orders can only be accepted from customers in Australia. If you are outside Australia, we are genuinely sorry, and it is worth checking back.
